Jared Lank

Jared Lank (1991) is a Mi’kmaq filmmaker from Maine. He holds advanced degrees in anthropology and human geography. His work explores identity and belonging, focusing on the nuanced, intergenerational experience of forced cultural loss, erasure, and assimilation under settler colonialism. His films expose the vicious and indoctrinating colonial underpinnings of society through metaphor, lived experience, and an Indigenous lens.
