Connie Shi is a queer, mixed Chinese-American actor and filmmaker originally from Bucks County, PA. She currently plays Detective Violet Yee on Law & Order and has recurred on TV shows like HBO’s BETTY and Netflix’s Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. As a filmmaker, her short films have screened around the country at Outfest, LA Film Festival, Out on Film, and others, and her projects have been finalists for the Sundance Episodic Lab and Film Independent Episodic lab. She is based in Brooklyn, NY.
