Teresa Chico

Teresa Chico is a senior at Bates College, where she is double majoring in Rhetoric, Film, and Screen Studies and Africana Studies. She is a member of Campus Activities and Traditions (CAT), where she helps program campus-wide events. This past summer, Teresa interned with PBS’ American Experience, helping filmmaking teams submit their work to film festivals like Sundance. She sees her work with the Bates Film Festival as an extension of that experience. Teresa has always had a love for movies, and after taking Charles Nero’s “White Redemption” course, she knew that film was something she wanted to pursue. She hails from the Bronx, New York.
