Sam Mallon is a senior from Bethesda, Maryland, majoring in Environmental Studies with a Rhetoric, Film, and Screen Studies minor. At Bates, they focus on connecting the RFSS world with global environmental policy, including activism work and climate media. Sam has studied community-based policy in Australia and research they participated in is currently being submitted to academic journals. After graduation they plan to volunteer with the Peace Corps in Guyana.
