Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk records nearly a year of video call exchanges between Fatma Hassona, a 25-year-old photographer living in Gaza, and Iranian filmmaker Sepideh Farsi. Through this film, we see the human beings behind the death toll on the news. We get to learn a little about who they are, what they think in this tragic situation, and what dreams they have for the future. Most of the film is shot handheld and the visuals are unsteady, but the BFF board hopes that you will come to know Fatma and that her photos will affect you the way they affected so many of us.
