Parker Huynh Benningfield is a senior at Bates College majoring in Economics with a minor in Rhetoric, Film, and Screen Studies. He hails from Charlotte, NC, and Austin, TX, and was the punter and kickoff specialist on the Bates Football team. A well-rounded student-athlete, he has received recognition for his performance on and off the field and in the community. Parker works in the Bates College Athletics Department as a Marketing & Promotions Assistant, where he is responsible for graphic design, photography, and video production. For his work, he was selected as a member of the 2025 NCAA DIII College Sports Communicators Student Program. Parker has been making YouTube videos and films since he was in 8th grade, and his work has been featured in regional film festivals in Texas and the 2020 Tokyo LiftOff film festival. He has also served as a production assistant on The Herd with Colin Cowherd onFS1 and on season 8 of the hit ABC series The Rookie. He also runs a freelance photography, cinematography, and graphic design operation, which you can find on Instagram (@pbenn_prod). A board member at the 2024 Bates Film Festival, Parker is excited to return for the 2026 edition.
