Aidan Bergeron

Aidan Bergeron is a Theater and Rhetoric, Film, and Screen Studies double major from Amherst, Massachusetts. With a background in community engagement and leadership roles, he brings an actor’s perspective to the Board of Directors for the second straight festival. At the 2024 festival, when he was a first-year student, Aidan led an on-stage discussion with John Sayles, Chris Cooper, and Maggie Renzi. Since then, he has become co-president of the Deansmen acapella group and a board member for both the Film Production Club and the Robinson Players. During his time at Bates, Aidan has been featured in the Theater Department’s productions of Wolf PlayThe Seagull, and Everybody, and he recently earned a Classical Acting award from the Region 1 American College Theater Festival. Aidan grew up watching films and believes that as a medium, they can bring about radical change and connect communities around social issues.
